Cheek redness solutions?
So I have really fair skin, and a pretty good amount of freckles. My cheeks are always red or pink though, like I’m wearing blush all the time. Its very, very rare that they’re the same color as the rest of my face. I was wondering if there’s any sort of face cream or herbal something that would reduce redness.
Completely covering them with foundation won’t work, because in order to do that, I would have to wear it really thick to cover it up, which isn’t happening. Tanning doesn’t help either, because my face absolutely won’t tan. It just freckles up more. Thanks in advance! (:
use lotion that specifically treats red or irritated skin. also use sunblock whenever you go outside even if it is not sunny out.

How do I stop this from making me upset?
This guy who works at my job on the weekends asked me for my # last summer. For about 2 wks, we exchanged text msgs but he never actually called me or asked me out anywhere. He invited me over to his house a few times to watch movies, which lead to kissing and nothing more.
Once I realized this guy was never going to make an effort to get to know me, I stopped responding to his text msgs and would only say hello at work if he said it first. The last text I got from him was maybe 2 wks ago, asking what I was doing, and of course it was late at night.
Every once in a while, I’ll go have dinner and drinks with a few girls I work with. Just this past weekend, we all went out and one of the girls I talk to most told me that this guy had been texting her ever since she changed her status on FB, and the guy is the same dude from work. She said he’d text her, "good morning" and "good night" which is what he did when he first started to text me.
I’m not jealous at all; this girl is really sweet and we’re not super close but I’d definitely consider her a good friend. I’m not going to say anything because I just feel like it’s not my place, but I do feel like he’s trying to take advantage of her recent breakup. I feel used even though we never went further than kissing.
Should I continue to say hello if he says it first? How do I brush this d-bag off and not let it upset me?

Sure, continue to say hello because it’s the polite thing to do. No need to let this escalate into awkwardness in the workplace.
As for his texts, you can pretty much block him out from now on, since it’s clear you don’t like him. If he brings it up with you tell him you’re not interested in picking up the kind of relationship you had before. No need to confront him about what he’s doing, since he’s technically done nothing wrong. Maybe he just really likes your friend and was waiting for the right moment.
And on the other hand, you can alert your friend to what you think is going on. Since you consider her a good friend and seem like you like her more than the guy, let her know you’re concerned.

You should have more confidence in yourself. I know I am probably the same because I am in a similar situation. Don’t let this ass treat you badly.
I think you should maybe tell your friend how he treated you, but of course she can do what she wants.

GH: Will Anyone Be Able To "Handle" JAKE If He Finds Out That JASON Is His Biological Father …?
There have been two kids in the history of GH who have both decided that they wanted to partake of their father’s criminal lifestyle.
Diego came to Port Charles with his mom Maria, who had never told either him or his father Lorenzo Alcazar that they were related. Diego was harmless for the most part until he found out that Alcazar was his father. That’s when he started getting a big head and thought that he was above the law. A couple of things happened to him; but instead of handling it like any normal kid would, he took this "poor me" attitude. He started gunning to get involved in his father’s "coffee" business. Alcazar point-blank told Diego that he would never be part of his business. Sounds familiar? Not to be dismissed, Diego went to Jason and Sonny and tried to get in good with them. Jason looked at this cocky-a$s kid and turned his nose up at him, telling him that if he could try to work for his father’s hated enemy and against his own father, then he and Sonny couldn’t trust him. Then Diego started drugging the girls at college who he figured did him wrong … Brook-Lyn and Maxie. He stripped them naked and took pictures of them that he put into an envelope and humiliated them with. This little stunt landed him in the Big House when they found out that it was him. They really should’ve sent him to intensive therapy instead, because when he got out of prison, there wasn’t any more evidence of any innocence he’d had before he got incarcerated. Worse, Jason had murdered Alcazar in cold blood and got rid of the body … so now Diego’s "poor me" complex was back in full swing. He came back to Port Charles as the Text Message Killer, and started strangling not only everybody close to Jason and Sonny … but everybody he imagined did him and his cousin Sage (who he’d never even met, by the way) wrong.
Anybody get the feeling that the monster was created the second he found out that Lorenzo Alcazar was his dad?
Michael was flucked-up the second he was conceived. He never had a chance, with the three choices he had for a father. A.J. was a vengeful "recovering" alcoholic. Aside from that, he was a Quartermaine. As nasty and greedy as Edward was (forget the harmless little old man he seems to be right now, back then he was 50x worse, he was infamous for trying to steal kids with the Quartermaine blood from their parent who wasn’t Quartermaine … and he thought that Carly was trash beneath his feet), he would’ve used the power of the Quartermaine name to buy off a corrupt judge and take Michael away from Carly. Then he’d have raked A.J. over the coals so much that it wouldn’t have taken long for him to hit the bottle again, and Edward would’ve used that to gain complete and total parental rights over Michael. Then the Q’s would’ve turned Michael into this greedy, power-hungry little snot who would’ve had to jump throught hoops to impress Edward and get the Q fortune.
That was Michael’s Quartermaine life waiting for him. It might’ve been a little happier with Jason, but hardly as safe. He might’ve been dead by now. Jason was the Enforcer. You can’t make a living out of killing people, and not have some p’d-off relative out for revenge. Sooner or later, you’re gonna slip up … whether it’s from going soft, or from old age. And you won’t be the target, your loved ones will. You see, they wanna get you where it really hurts. They know that you’re prepared to die for your sins, so there’s no justice in killing you. The justice is in hurting you as much as you’ve hurt them. Michael would’ve been a constant, constant target. Then, having any level of testosterone, he’d have gotten tired of being a target and would’ve wanted to get involved with defending himself and those that he loves … that was his life as Michael Morgan.
We see his life as Michael Corrinthos … just as big-headed as Diego Alcazar, and 500x magnified! Just like Diego, he’d decided that he’s man enough to handle the "business". Just like Lorenzo, Sonny is yelling himself blue-in-the-face, all the time putting absolutely no dent in Michael’s resolve to be his "father", bigger and better! Just like Diego, Michael has stopped respecting the opposite sex, and he’s treating them like objects. The only difference is that, without a rival mob in town, little Mikey has nobody else to turn to … yet! So now, since he keeps getting frustrated, he’s becoming a lot more dangerous than Diego was way back when.
And now, we have Jake. GH has proven that they don’t give "mobster kids" a break. So, it doesn’t matter how great a Super-Mom Liz has been up to date. It doesn’t matter that Lucky has been the greatest dad in the world to Cam and Jake. In the end, GH is gonna prove that it’s biology that counts. So, if crazy-azz Franco hadn’t got a hold of Jake and forced Jason to choose between him and Sam … and if Jake hadn’t got it in the explosion … there’s a BIG chance that GH would’ve had Jake
there’s a BIG chance that GH would’ve had Jake growing up wanting to emulate his biological father. Because in the end, every Soap boy eventually wants to grow up to be just like Daddy!
Just look at JR Chandler (AMC). The little 12 year-old punk was getting into trouble with the law and smirking at the cop (or judge) after getting caught while trying to hand him thousands of dollars of bribe money! Because that’s how Daddy Adam would’ve handled it. And this was desPITE the fact that Tad and Dixie were raising him better, and he grew up knowing the history of Adam trying to have Dixie committed so that he could get him under his thumb. And despite the fact that, from all he knew of Tad’s and Dixie’s teachings, Adam was breaking the law and hurting his mom just to get what he wanted. All that mattered was that he wanted to be just like bio-Daddy!
So, will Jason be able to control Jake if Jake grows up knowing who Jason is in relation to him, as well as what he does for a living? Or
Or will Jake take the attitude of "Do as I say, not as I do" just doesn’t wash, because it’s an outright hypocracy?
Does that even work in real life?
You make an excellent case. Sonny and Jason always acted like Michael would have a better life because that’s what they wanted for him. Until recently, it never even crossed their minds that they are his heroes and the example they’ve set is what would influence him. They ignored the early signs and, instead of making him pay for the things he’d done (and learning a lesson), they covered for him. So, how can they be surprised that he wants to follow in Sonny’s footsteps?
We’re yet to see what role Jason ends up playing in Jake’s life and when he’ll find out he’s his bio. dad. But, unless Jason really changes his life, Jake may well go down the same path as the other mobster’s sons and be the worst one of all. I hope this is something that Jason will consider in light of how Michael is turning out and despite that he thinks that Jake will never know the truth.

Could Jake turn out to be a cop, and try to bring his father down without knowing
Sonny shots Dominic at the end of this week
Olivia tells Sonny that Dominic is their son next week, and he has it proves
Sonny tells Dante he is his father, Dante is not sure if he heard Sonny right, because he is all drugged up. Michael tells Dante the truth after he find outs they are brother, that he killed claudia, not Sonny. Sonny, Jason, Jax and Carley all were just trying to protect him

This week, Jason and sam talks about what is the best for Jake
Taking him for a drunk Lucky and a mess up Elizabeth or letting them keep him
I think Jake will get sick when he is a teenager, and will fine out he is Jason son, if he still on the show. If Edward still alive, Elizabeth life will be hell, with Edward trying to get his hands on his great grandson

I totally agree with you. Michael would have been better off as Michael Morgan because Jason would have from the beginning been able to knock it into his head that it isn’t cool to be a Diego clone! (As proved by Jason when he called Michael a little b****) I don’t think that Jason or anyone will be able to control Jake when he finds out that Jason is his bio-dad because he’ll turn all crazy, he’ll get all "You lied to me" and crap so he’ll probably turn against Jason and unless there’s a mob rival by then then I don’t know what’ll happen but my guess is it’ll be interesting.

Who do you think will be there for him?! Carly. As always. I could just see the scene now. "I warned your daddy, Jakey, truly. I told him that your mommy was a slutty gold digger, but he couldn’t resist." What a powerful scene! All joking aside, Carly would be the one there for Jake. After all, she’s quite the expert on all things paternal…she did claim that Michael had three different fathers after. Remember? At one point, Carly was sleeping with Sonny, married to A.J., and all the while pretending that she was in love with Jason. What a caper!

Well, lets hope by the time Jake has grown up that Jason may have walked away from the mob…wishful thinking I know. But, I would HATE to see Jake turn out to be a little jerk like Michael is running around acting like right now. After all the heartache it put on Jason and Liz…they had to walk away to keep him safe, to have him go to that life would kill them both!

What kind of poetry is this?
I’m an amateur poet but I don’t know what type of poetry I write. I’m posting on Deviantart so… anyways, I can’t seem to find any of it so I’ll try to think of something on the spot. Oh, and I’m inspired by my Boyfriends. (and the poems are usually about him XD)
With every passimg moment I spend not kissing you, not holding you, not being close to you, I grow weaker.
