For Boys: I think Landon, Matthias and Fabian are absolutely lovely. They can also be shortened if he feels a bit embarrassed at school, or something.
PLEASE avoid anything like Isaias or Franklin, which either sound too biblical, or can be made fun of.
For Girls: Angeline and Taliyah are gorgeous. They too can be shortened and are just edgy enough to stay relevant when your child has grown up.
On the other hand, Muriel is an old lady’s name and Brittany is overused - DON’T DO IT!

Thank you for including the meanings. I knew that some of those names had religious meanings, but I would not have considered that when advising others. Now that the meanings are right in front of me, though, I can’t ignore the fact that Michael means "Who is like God?" That’s not a question I would ever recommend naming a child.
For the boys, I guess I like Fabian and Franklin best. I don’t want to choose the religious ones, and I strongly dislike Jaidyn. Landon would be a reluctant third choice.
For the girls, I recommend Carolina or Muriel, though Muriel requires bravery. I don’t see it being very popular, but it is rather pretty and has a gorgeous meaning. I strongly dislike Jakayla and Chasity, and would choose Brittany as a reluctant third. The religious ones are out for me.

IMDB rating: 5.50 Plot: The small island resort town of Amity is trying to bounce back from the financial problems it had after becoming known as the site of shark attacks four years ago. Mayor Larry Vaughn is welcoming developer Len Peterson and his new resort to Amity. Two scuba divers are exploring the area where the Orca sank after police chief Martin Brody killed a huge shark four years ago. A shark shows up and kills the two divers, but not before one of the divers takes a close-up picture of the shark’s eye, and sometime later, while a mother is driving a boat that’s pulling her water-skiing teenage daughter, the shark kills the daughter and causes the mother to accidentally blow up the boat, then a killer whale is found on the shore with a huge bite on it. After Brody sees this, he knows there’s another huge great white shark in Amity’s waters, but Vaughn and Peterson explain these attacks away as non-shark accidents, because the thought of another shark in Amity’s waters would drive tourists away from the new resort and cause the new resort to lose money. It looks like Vaughn is still a mayor who puts money ahead of people’s lives. Brody tips his gun’s hollow point bullets with cyanide and melted candle wax and tells his sons Michael and Sean to stay away from the beaches and tells them to not go sailing with Mike’s friends, who include Vaughn’s son Larry Vaughn Jr. Everyone thinks Brody’s fears are shark trauma-induced paranoia. Brody even tries to call his friend Matt Hooper, who is doing research on a boat in the Antarctic Circle, and Matt will be in the Antarctic Circle for a few more months. While keeping an eye on the waters from the beach’s shark tower, Brody sees a huge dark spot in the water and rings the tower’s alarm bell, but it turns out to be a school of bluefish. Vaughn fires Brody for causing this panic at the beach and scaring tourists and their money away, and even though they were told not to, Michael and Sean go out sailing with Junior Vaughn and their friends, unaware that the shark is trailing them. can my work not hire me back after i took a personal leave and could i sue them for loss of wages?
i had got into a car accident and was having back problems, so i took time off to heal. while i was on my leave i had a seizure. i couldnt open or close my mouth for 2 months, because i had gotten locked jaw from seizuring. they said that i need a dr realease to come back. so i brought them the realese and now they are saying that they dont have any hours for me,and that they had to hire 2 ppl when i left. but now they are actually short ppl because they had to fire some, and still havent called me to come back, i keep calling them and they keep saying that they will call me back with hours. its been 2 months now since i brought in that drs realese to them. ive been there 7 years now and dont want to loose my job
If you are in the US and you signed up for FMLA then they can’t penalize you for being gone (for a determined amount of time) due to illness. Otherwise, your employment is at will - yours and theirs. Take the hint and go get another job.

Would you read my novel if you saw it in a store?
in 1980 a group of police officers and government officials came up with an idea: A summer camp for juvenile delinquents. This camp was called Camp Paite. Many people were given an ultimatum, jail or camp Paite?
For the 1st three weeks things in the camp seem quiet. There is, of course, the occasional fight or scuffle amongst children but… for the most part… everything seems okay.
But then, one morning, the officials find four children missing from their beds.
After months of searching, people begin to give up on finding the four missing young criminals.
But the government didn’t know this: The kids didn’t just run away. They started their own society. A place for teen runaways who are out of options. They called this place Paite, after the camp they ran from, and before long they have an entire group of runaways joining them.
The story takes place 29 years after the start of Paite. 3 of the 4 founders have been killed and the 4th when missing 6 months before the story began. Things in Paite are falling apart. Without the leaders to guide them people begin looking to Devon Smith (1 of the 6 protagonists.) Devon is the younger cousin of one of the Paite founders. People assume that he should be the new leader but he doesn’t want the responsibility. Throughout the story, Devon’s back story is slowly revealed.
As a child, he went from foster home to foster home, never sure of who he was, until he finally met his birth mother at the age of 12. His mother, was a prostitute in Vegas and revealed to Devon that his entire family except for his one runaway cousin have ended up as what Devon deems "horrible people"
Angry and afraid of following his parents footsteps, Devon ran off to find his cousin.
Now he is fifteen and his cousin is assumed dead. People assume he will be a good leader, but he cannot stand the pressure.
At the same time the story follows five other "main characters" switching POV every chapter:
Bekkah Graphman- was raised in a small, religious town where abstinence and purity were the only expectable thing. But, fifteen year old Bekkah just found out she’s pregnant, with her older, atheist boyfriends child. After deciding to keep the baby, Bekkah makes the decision to run away to Paite, a city that she has only heard of in stories.
Lia Reese- Is the younger sister of Bekkah’s boyfriend, Taylor. She ran off to Paite a few years before because she felt she was constantly living in the shadow of her family’s grief (Three of her older siblings died before she was born) What she finds out later on is that she is, in fact, the daughter of a man her mother had an affair with years ago. When her parents look at her, they see a mistake. Later in the story, Lia and Devon become romantically entangled and end up having sex. This relationship is ruined after Lia and Devon get into a major fight regarding the death of a minor character.
Zane Walker- Is Devon’s arch nemesis. Unlike Devon, he believes he truly could rule Paite, however, Devon is always standing in the way. (In many cases the reader does see that Zane, is in many ways, a more suitable leader than Devon who is constantly ruled by his emotions.) Zane ran off three years before the story began, after he was involved in a shooting that killed his younger sister, Colette and his father. Zane is never sure weather it was his bullet that hit Colette or his drunken father’s but he blames himself.
Tanya Bennett- Is Zane’s right hand woman. She ran off 2 years before after her older step brother, Christopher, raped her multiple times. Tanya’s parents chose not to take action because they thought Christopher had a very bright future (it is often hinted in the book that Tanya’s parents were intimidated by their son and were afraid of what he would do if they tried to stop him.) Tanya is seen as very cold, and jittery. She often shows signs of possible insanity. She is repelled by human touch and though she acts tough she is really… rotting inside. Unlike all the other characters, Tanya does not reveal her back story until the final few chapters. Throughout the book Tanya attempts suicide 3 times, all of which she is stopped by Zane, who is in love with her.
At the same time the book also follows Paige Mariner, a 17-year-old girl who was kidnapped as a child. The kidnapper, an elderly woman named Miriyam Viktor has been supplying Paite with food, water, transportation, medicine and other necessities since it’s initiation in 1980 (it is revealed later on that when Miriyam was a teenager, she too was a runaway. Another city called Chelley which was much like Paite was running back then. However, Chelley was discovered and Miriyam was forced into hiding. Now she feels obliged to help Paite because she is reminded of her own childhood.)
Since her abduction, Paige has been trained to defend Paite. She is powerful, ruthless, and she knows no other life besides a murderous one. Paige is constantly fighting and killing peopl

who pose a threat to Paite. She is often referred to as ‘the girl who can do anything’. She has been known to defeat impossible odds. She is mean, nasty and willing to do anything for Paite or for herself.
Throughout the novel, the Paitians are constantly on the run, hoping to escape the police. In the end, after giving birth to a premature baby (Paige used outside resources to save the child’s life.) Bekkah is captured by the police and taken away from her baby. Paige is nearly killed trying to defend her.
Devon, gives himself up to the police after a fight with Lia.
Tanya overcomes her fear of… people and ends up sleeping with Zane and revealing her life story.
This is the 1st book in a planned trilogy. The book ends with Paige (along with a few other ‘agents’ trained by Miriyam) setting up a plan to rescue Bekkah.

well 2 years ago i started dating this guy
after a year i started getting insecure cos he is a really good looking guy and girls are always throwing themselves at me and im an insecure person
so one night i went out with my girls n ended up cheating on him
i told him a few weeks later cos i felt so guilty and he broke up with me
i really fucked him up. i saw him cry for the 1st time. he didnt even cry when he talked about his dead dad.
so we didnt talk for months things got nasty and horrible things were said on both sides.
although he never had sex with anyone else in the 8 months we were split
in the last few weeks we started talking again
then on christmas night he called and said he needed to talk.. he told me he still loves me and although i really hurt him he still thinks about me all the time.
we ended up going to my house for drinks and one thing led to another.. we slept together.
then we were out a few nights after and we kissed, i told him things were not going to go further again untill we were in a relationship.. he agreed that was the best thing.
then the night before last we were both out and he was on the dance floor, looking at me.. this **** came up grinding up n down him and he kissed her right in front of my face
after he asked me why i was upset, asked what i thought it felt like and then told me he does love me, he just cant sort out in his head what is right.. so i told him i would wait for as long as he needs me too
so then it turns out he has actually been texting this girl he got with and it was planned that they would meet up… i dont know what to think

Either this guy missed you loads, and one thing lead to another and you had sex because of how you both feel for one another, or he wanted revenge,
Let’s pretend that he wanted revenge, how was he supposed to know that this girl would come up to him dancing like that, and are you sure that he kissed her and she never kissed him first? Unless of course, it was all staged like he knew the girl or something.
Or maybe, he did want to get back with you, and at the same time still feels very angry about how you cheated, so when you told him that you wanted to be in a relationship before you both had sex again he knew he couldn’t ‘get back’ at you then because it was you calling the shots, and not him having his wicked way and then leaving , saying ‘its not gonna happen again’ , it seems like kissing this girl was the perfect oppotunity if this is what he had in mind.
However, it seems that he may still have feelings, but feel as if he cant trust you. But I most definte in saying, it is a good chance that he wanted to give you a taste of your own medicine, but the way he went about it was all wrong. too wrongs don’t make a right.
Find out if this girl is really meeting up with him? Ask around. If she is then call it a day, he was either ‘using you’ or ‘getting revenge.’ if shes not, then talk to him. Ask him about her, and what she means to him and where you and him stand. If he still doesn’t know what he wants, dont wait forever… move on.

Here’s my opinion:
If this guy really loves you, he wouldn’t do it for revenge or sex.
When someone loves you, they’ll look past your mistakes and learn to trust you again.
If he had been hooking up with this girl for awhile, then he’s not worth it.
I would talk to him, and let him know that I’d want the truth.
If he isn’t willing to tell you, then he doesn’t trust you enough.
That’s my point of view on the situation.

i don’t think that he wants sex……… but this happened to me and all he wanted revenge and he screwed me over. so if this is similar to something that he is doing to you then i say move on and find a better man that won’t do that kind of **** and promises to be faithful to you and not go out with you then when you cheat on him he plans a night where he invites a girl that he kisses in front of you. i really think this is revenge so just move on and get a good man that will treat you right!!!!!

For Christmas he wrapped up second hand games. I hardly get a break cos he’s in the army and sees them as and when he wants. The whole thing is draining me.
I’m trying to get hold of my solicitor but the phone’s just ringing.

Well, by the sounds of him, is this the sort of person you would like looking after your kids? If he cannot be bothered to visit the kids, he obviously doesnt want to or just does not have the time to. Solicitors should help with advice but remember it is Christmas so they may not be open until after the new year.

The important people in this are the kids so no matter how horrid your relationship is with your ex husband you must try very hard not to let your feelings for HIM impact on the children.
Make a visitation schedule and stick to it. Arrange holidays at the beginning of the year.
Get the support of other family members, get them to have the children for short breaks and weekly stopover so you can get a rest. Don’t leave your ex’s parents out, they have lost regular contact with their Dad, they still need their paternal Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc.
YOU don’t have to see your ex at all other than handing them over at the doorstep or arrange regular supervised visits at another location where you do not see him at all. Warn him that any further threats or abusive texts will be dealt with by the police and courts.
What he buys the children for Christmas is no longer anything to do with you. Don’t say anything negative about him to your children. He may be your EX but he will always be their FATHER.

Oh hun I know exactly how you feel, my ex is a deadbeat and turns up now and again. I don’t have any family near me so that also makes it hard.
If you do have some family around then use them to your advantage. If you can get them to look after the kids even one weekend a month it really will make a difference. Again if you have any good friends ask them to babysit once in a while. Even a few hours of me time will help you.
The one thing not to do is expect it to change. If he’s not interested then no matter what the courts say he will just not turn up, and would you really want them to be with him when it’s being forced on him.
Me and my kids are now in a great routine. I work part time and that gives me some space and independence. You don’t say how old the children are, so it’s hard to say what’s best. If they are in school try and get a job that you can work round them. It’s amazing how good it will make you feel. If they are not at school yet then are there any other people you know with kids. Why don’t you all get together every week for a coffee and let the kids play. The adult company will also help you.
I do know how this feels, and I also know that you can do it. It may feel overwhelming most of the time, but if you just change the little things you will feel better, but you must stop expecting your ex to do anything. If you realise you are on your own, you will deal much better. That what I did. I do everything for them, and expect nothing from my ex (to a point). If he wants to see them he does and it’s a break for me, but if he doesn’t we just get on with it.
It will get easier, please believe me. He is the loser in all of this, he just doesn’t realise yet.
Just do your best, take help where you can get it, and take it easy on yourself.

This kind of question will be asked by women for the next 1000 years. As long as women keep marrying losers they, like you will suffer, like you. Before you marry someone, take time to assess him correctly, and listen to opinions of others.
A decision to marry someone should only be based on self interest and not the interests of the other person. That is for him to worry about. The decision to have children with the person should be even more carefully assessed.
This guy was awful way before you allowed him to reproduce with you. You probably chose to overlook his bad side. This is the result.
