He’s depressed, withdrawing from work, missing meetings with investors. HELP Please!!…Hair Questions…(Pictures) >10 POINTS!!<?
Okay, so my hair is long (about down to my elbows) and straight. My friend has curly hair and I really love it!! And so I really want a perm…here’s a picture of the exact kind I want… http://images.chron.com/blogs/shopgirl/a rchives/shopgirl-perm.jpg
Here are my questions:
1. What kind of perm is that
2. If you shower or brush your hair too much, will your perm go away?
3. Does your hair fall out if you get a perm?
4. Will this kind of perm make my hair frizzy?
P.S. You don’t have to answer all the questions, but any help will be greatly appreciated!!
First off her hair looks naturally curly. To recreate that I would use purple or peach rods and roll you up spiral style.Your perm wont go away untill it grows out and gets cut off.Unless its a shitty perm it will fall out imediatley or you’ll turn into a frizz ball if its over processed or the wrong typeof perm solution is used.Curly hair is alot of work.It takes the right products and lots of conditioning to make it look good everyday.Good luck.
Nikitachik | Nov 17, 2008
if you Wash your hair within a couple days of getting a perm it could fall out..your hair dresser will tell you how long u need to wait b4 you wash your hair. No your hair won’t fall out, people get there there hair permed all the time and if your hair actually fell out people wouldn’t get them. It won’t make your hair frizzy, you just need to make sure to follow your after care instructions and maybe get some gel for permed or curly hair.
~*~KaT~*~ | Nov 17, 2008
it looks like a spiral with white rods
you should not wash your hair for 48 hours after you get a perm
if you had had many chemicals in your hair in the last year exotically a hair straightener you cannot perm it or it will turn to mush
you will need products to manage it scrunch spray and frizz serum
nikkol z | Nov 17, 2008
i agree with cat on those things but to your other question
i think that is called a spiral perm….you like the little curls right???
Natalie | Nov 17, 2008
I don’t know much about the perm itself, but I do know how to take care of curly hair, seeing as I have naturally curly hair, and I can tell you that the only reason curly hair gets frizzy is because people don’t know how to take care of it. I have supple silky perfect ringlets, and everyone gets envious of them, but they’re actually so simple! Here’s my best tips:
1. NEVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR - only comb it when it is very wet.
2. USE THE RIGHT PRODUCTS - I recommend Aquage and Biolage, but if you are on a budget, Tresemme works well, too. I recommend buying drugstore shampoo and conditioner, and salon products for curl creams and leave-in conditioners.
3. PUT IN PRODUCTS AT THE RIGHT TIME - Put in a lot of leave in conditioner while your hair is wet, and curl cream when it is damp.
4. FINISH IT OFF WITH ANTI-FRIZZ CREAM - THE BEST product is actually a drugstore item. It is Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon. This stuff works miracle with frizz. Put it in when your hair is damp, and again when it is half dry.
5. AVOID GEL! It makes crunchy fake looking curls. Blech!

How far-reaching will the effects of "climategate" be?
OK. Man-made global warming is a fraud. The skeptics were right. That’s now undeniable. Not only did the activists lie, the scientist/activists lied. And they conspired to do so.

But to what extent does this affect the UN’s credibility, or the credibility of environmentalists in general? It isn’t the first phony environmental alarm - but it’s certainly the largest.
I think that this, on top of the lack of warming over the last decade, will cause most people who still believe in global warming to stop believing in it. But what larger effects will it have? Will you still believe in the next "change your ways or the world’s gonna end" scare?
And if you don’t, what will happen if the next scare is right? Have these clowns destroyed the credibility of legitimate environmentalism?
Kyoto, the new Climate Change conference, green initiaves, etc.
The US has been changed forever.
America 101 | Nov 21, 2009
I STOPPED READING IMMEDIATELY when I came to the words "UN’s credibility"..:-)
tony_s1944 | Nov 21, 2009
Well it is already having a negative effect, especially in the forests and in many agricultural areas around the world. The changes are subtle, but they are there. Ignore it at your own peril.
Ed | Nov 21, 2009
What I want to know is, when will this hit the MSM? If this doesn’t hit the MSM, we will hear the same rhetoric forever.
And no, I won’t believe in the next "change your way or the world will end scare." I do believe that they didn’t forever change the credibility of legitimate environmentalism but you watch, these d-bags will still worship Al Gore, the Messiah Obama and others as they are making excuses for them.
Most Americans won’t find out about it unless it hits TMZ or the Daily Show.
O'Ryan | Nov 21, 2009
I hate to say it,but even if people did fake this crap. The politicians will still follow it, and press forward in order to help spread wealth and remove all personal luxuries that humans have created. There was always the whole " Oil companies help funded a non- AGW research." or "Sierra club and some windmill companies financed a study for AGW." but now it shows even our own leaders will try to trick the people they SWEAR TO PROTECT. Whats next?

Pseudo scientists are like the fly inside your car that keeps buzzing and buzzing and buzzing against the glass window trying to fly through the glass, but it keeps bouncing off and bouncing and bouncing and bouncing and bouncing…
then you roll down the window and it just flies away.
Does the fly stop and say "Oh, I feel so stupid."
No the fly just flies off thinking "I’m a fly. I’m a fly, I’m a fly, I’m a fly…"
When the scammers get caught, they just quietly fold their shell game table and move it to another subway platform, then they set up their scam and start right up another scam all over again.
And the rubes will all line up and put their money down to play the shell game just like always.
The mercury in fish, the China Syndrome, nuclear winter, the ozone hole, global warming, dihydrogen monoxide, the magnetic poles flipping, there’s always another scam, and there’s always a crowd of gullible rubes waiting to get fleeced.
gws35 | Nov 21, 2009
I think the greatest effect will be the taxation they will derive and the framework of the international government they have justified with global warming. Its about global governing, not warming.
The people never believed the UN anyway. The problem is that the one worlders we elect dont care.
Pork | Nov 21, 2009
Undeniable, huh? There is no "climategate". No more than there will be an "evolutiongate". You can’t overturn a mountain of factual evidence with one unethical e-mail.
This story is about some emails that were hacked at the University of East Anglia. Did you think that all of the research on global warming was done there?
here are some of the other sources that say that global warming is being caused by man;
John McCain
NASA
NOAA - Pres. Bush gave them $904 million of your tax dollars in 2007.
US National Academy of Science
American Association for the Advancement of Science
Joint Science Acadmies’ Statement
American Meteorological Society
U.S. Global Change Research Program
Climate Change Science Program
United States Geological Survey
US Dept of Transportation
US Dept of Energy
US Dept of Defense
US Dept of Agriculture
Central Intelligence Agency
There is no doubt among anyone who is willing to look at the evidence.

Depends on whether the Lamestream media picks it up… So far they have shown NO interest… My guess is that they’ll ignore it as they did ACORN, until the "new media" brings it into focus, then they will yawn "Oh, my, do we have a story here?" Their lack of curiosity in this area while assigning eleven reporters to fact check Sarah Palin’s book speaks volumes.
@woodpecker… remember that "everyone" once knew that the earth was the center of the universe…. ALL the science was settled… Even the CHURCH agreed…. Hmm.. glaring proof that science is NOT a consensus sport.
Jimmbbo | Nov 21, 2009
"How far-reaching will the effects of "climategate" be?"…………i wouldn’t want to be or call myself a ‘PEER REVIEWED" scientist much anymore !!!!!

Hopefully, it will allow us to go back to what makes the US great rather than expelling all our dirty manufacturing to China and trying to live on what is left. Globalization was partially based on global warming. The UN and their ilk blamed the US for destroying the climate. What a pitiful joke. I wonder who dreamed that one up. It’s going to be pretty difficult to believe the so-called scientists again for a very long time. It would seem to me that people would have noticed that this group of scientists only studied what they were funded to study to skew the results of their findings. They completely omitted many variables that also effect our climate. In other words, it wasn’t really a scientific study at all.

Maybe part of the problem is people are misreading what was said. Quote mining is a favourite tactic of the rightwingers.

The UN never had any credibility to start with, so they did not loose any. As for the rest of the environmentalists, Obama is still pushing for his ruinous Cap and Trade nonsense which will just about wipe out what’s left of manufacturing in the US.
The only thing I can agree on with the tree huggers is that we must stop pollution, dumping garbage everywhere.

You know who else fudged his data?
Michael Millikan!
That’s right: ELECTRICITY IS A LIE!!!
"An examination of Millikan’s own papers and notebooks reveals that he picked and chose among his drops. That is, he exercised discrimination with respect to which drops he would include in published accounts of the value of e, leaving many out. Sometimes he mentioned this fact, and sometimes he did not. Of particular concern is the fact that in his 1913 paper, presenting the most complete account of his measurements of the charge on the electron, Millikan states It is to be remarked that this is not a selected group of drops but represents all of the drops experimented upon during 60 consecutive days. However, Millikan’s notebook shows that of 189 observations during the period in question, only 140 are presented in the paper…"
